The distribution of the masses (law of inertia) gives the D-Contact a dynamic movement of the body in continuous twist in an attempt to re-establish its position. This frenetic movement causes incredible light effects on the body, extremely attractive for the trout.

The profile of the D-Contact (seen from above) shows a lean mass, typical of a normal floating artificial and therefore of a small prey. However, the height of the body and the arrangement and calculation of the 18 tungsten weights inserted in it, make this artificial a very heavy Heavy Sinking, which allows to reach long distances, extreme depths and millimetric accuracies. The distribution of the masses (law of inertia) gives the D-Contact a dynamic movement of the body in continuous twist in an attempt to re-establish its position. This frenetic movement causes incredible light effects on the body, extremely attractive for the trout. The solid frontal lip ensures a regular wobbling movement even in case of very fast recovery. Both the split rings and the hooks are burnished to avoid alert the prey with unnatural reflexes. The D-Contact should be animated with linear recovery and small strokes of the tip or by making it work from the top to the bottom (from waterfalls, rocks or low walls) keeping the tip rod high, a bit like the mainé technique.
